Deaf Community Access

La SODA Auslan Support provides a number of Deaf/deaf services in the south east suburbs of Melbourne to Drouin, Warragul and Traralgon. Our services for adults and children include communications support and community access at school, in the home, with hobbies and community events, and booking appointments. We believe that every individual has the right to communicate and be involved in all aspects of society, regardless of their disability.

Please Note: We do not provide an Auslan interpreter service. If you need to book an interpreter you can contact either NABS (National Auslan Booking Service) or Expression Australia

Assisting with Travel

La SODA Auslan Support is committed to helping our clients maintain strong community ties. We provide assistance with travel to community events such as family gatherings, weddings, picnics, and holidays. We also provide support to attend community meetings and activities.

Our goal is to help our Deaf/deaf clients stay connected to their community and to the people who are important to them. We believe that community involvement is essential for a healthy and happy life. We are proud to be able to offer this service to our clients and their families.

Auslan Support for School

Deaf/deaf students often face barriers to community access, but our Auslan Support for schools provides assistance with deaf students on school excursions, camps, fun days and athletics days.

We believe that all students should have the opportunity to participate in community activities to develop strong social bonds.

Auslan Deaf/deaf Support for Hobbies

We are passionate about helping our community members lead rich and fulfilling lives. One way we do this is by providing assistance to Deaf/deaf children and adults with their hobbies.

Whether it’s joining a sports team, taking up painting, or getting involved in theatre, we want to help our community members pursue their passions. We believe that everyone should have access to the opportunities and resources they need to lead a productive and joyful life.

Deaf Communication Support

Assist with Important Documents and Bills

Deaf/deaf adults often face unique challenges when it comes to communications. One of the ways we help is by providing assistance with understanding basic forms and documents. This can include everything from driver’s licenses to tax forms.

We also provide guidance on how to communicate effectively with hearing people. Our goal is to help deaf adults live full, independent lives.

Make Appointments and Phone Calls

Deaf/deaf adults often face significant challenges in communicating with the hearing world. Appointments and other phone calls can be difficult to schedule, and paying bills can be a hassle.

La SODA Auslan Support provides communications support to Deaf/deaf adults, making it easier for them to manage their day-to-day lives. We schedule appointments, make phone calls on their behalf, and help them to pay bills online.
